This three-storey building, designed for a housing association, contains a total of 18 apartments; twelve of these are 1 bed and six are 2 bed units on split-levels.
The design sought to reinterpret the terrace/townhouse appearance, proportion and arrangement to achieve sustainable densities, whilst retaining building elements in sympathy with the local tradition.
I worked on various aspects of this project, from fine-tuning apartment layouts to working on construction details with a technician.
